Here are some GOOGLE ALERTs that I requested on the subject of “Control system of the organism.”

Google Blogs Alert for: Epigenetic control system

Now: The Rest of the Genome
By Dr. Michael M. McGreer
All of the molecules that hang onto DNA, collectively known as epigenetic marks, are essential for cells to take their final form in the body. As an embryo matures, epigenetic marks in different cells are altered, and as a result they ...

Editors Comment:
Popular presentation of current genetics and epigenetics - obviously naive.

ASU ant researcher nets Collaborative Innovation Award
By Margaret Coulombe
The Fountain of Youth to be found in an anthill?
If you ask Arizona State University researcher Juergen Liebig, he would point to his favorite study animal, the ant, to provide answers.

Editors E-mail to Juergen Liebig:
Dear Dr. Liebig,
I came across your work through the Google Alert for "Epigenetic control" that led me to ASU site http://asunews.asu.edu/20081120_antresearcher
Unlike the recently initiated NIH $190 million program, you are addressing the epigenetic control system of a colony, not of the individual organism. This will not allow you to avoid the question about the physical nature of the carrier of epigenetic programs. And here we can join forces.
Please see my site www.misaha.com - BOOK - my introductory article.
I am attaching the preprint of my article accepted for publication in the January issue of the EXPLORER (Elsevier): "Yet another change is needed."
Feel free to contact me if interested.

Editors Comment:
Epigenetic biofield control systems of ants, bees, etc. that live in colonies are dispersed through the whole colony and control specialization and phenotypes of individuals. Carriers of these control systems are clearly not of a chemical (electrical) nature. The ASU inquiry is supported by Howard Hughes Medical Institute at ~$40 million.

Epigenetics

Epigenetic control is often associated with alternative covalent modifications of histones. The stability and heritability of states of larger chromosomal regions are often thought to involve positive feedback where modified nucleosomes ... Health and Fitness - http://healthforworld.blogspot.com/

This is how the current molecular and cell biologists comprehend epigenetic phenomenon. How an ant can comprehend a continent? His view is short and his mind is controlled by the epigenetic control system of the colony.

Biotechnology approach to determination of genetic and epigenetic control in cells.
By Kenji Yasuda

A series of studies aimed at developing methods and systems for analyzing epigenetic information in cells are presented. The role of the epigenetic information of cells, which is complementary to their genetic information, was inferred by comparing the predictions of genetic information with the cell behavior observed under conditions chosen to reveal adaptation processes and community effects. Analysis of epigenetic information was developed starting from the twin complementary viewpoints of cells regulation as an 'algebraic' system (emphasis on the temporal aspect) and as a 'geometric' system (emphasis on the spatial aspect). The knowledge acquired from this study will lead to the use of cells for fully controlled practical applications like cell-based drug screening and the regeneration of organs.

Editors Comment:
The following letter that I tried to email to the author did not come through.

Dear Dr. Yasuda,
Your inquiry into epigenetic control system is certainly appropriate but hopeless at the strictly cellular level. Cellular processes are controlled by epigenetic control systems of tissues, organs and the whole organism. Ignoring this hierarchical structure of the control system of the organism, that I call Biofield control system, will lead nowhere.
I am writing you because I received a reference to your work of 2004 through GOOGLE Alert for "Epigenetic control system."
I advise you to look at my site: www.misaha.com - BOOK - Introductory article. I postulated there the structure and function of the epigenetic biofield control system of the organism.
Your comments would be welcomed.
Best regards,
Savely Savva
